Resources for Young People

Hey kids!

Do you want to be a super helper in your community? You can! The Julian Trust helps people who don’t have a home or need a little help, and there are fun ways you and your family can make a difference.

You don’t need to be a grown-up to help - every little thing you do can make someone’s day brighter!

What is Homelessness?

Sometimes people don’t have a safe place to live. This is called homelessness. It can mean:

  • Sleeping outside on the street.

  • Staying in a shelter.

  • Living in a place that isn’t safe or warm.

It can happen for many reasons - maybe someone lost their job, got sick, or had a tough time in life.

At the Julian Trust, we help by:

  • Giving people hot meals

  • Providing a warm, safe space

  • Offering kindness and support

We believe everyone deserves care, food, and friendship.

Ask Your School to Join In

You can be a school superhero too! Ask your teachers if your school can help by doing:

  • Non-school uniform day: Donate £1 and wear your own clothes for a day.

  • Food collection: Bring in cans, pasta, or other long-life foods to help people who need it most.

Your school can make a huge difference, and it’s a fun way to get everyone involved!

Sponsored Sports Acitivty

Do you love running, skipping, cycling, or swimming? Turn your favourite activity into a super fun challenge!

  • Pick a goal (like running 1 km or cycling 5 km).

  • Ask friends and family to sponsor you.

  • Have fun while helping people who really need it!

Every Little Bit Helps

No matter how small your action is, it can make a huge difference for someone who needs support. You and your family can make the world a kinder place - and have fun doing it too!
