Every donation to the Julian Trust helps us provide warmth, safety, food, and compassion to people experiencing homelessness in Bristol.
For many of our guests, the Julian Trust is more than just a bed for the night. It is a place where they can enjoy a hot meal, take a shower, access clean clothing and bedding, and be welcomed with dignity and kindness. Your support helps make all of this possible.
As a volunteer-led charity, we receive no statutory funding to run our Night Shelter and rely heavily on the generosity of individuals, community groups, churches, businesses, and grant-makers. Every pound donated helps us continue providing a safe and supportive environment for people who have nowhere else to turn.
Whether you choose to make a one-off donation or become a regular supporter, your gift will directly contribute to the day-to-day running of the shelter and the care we provide to our guests.

Where Do Your Donations Go?
Running a Night Shelter four nights a week comes with significant costs. On average, it costs around £3,000 each week to operate the shelter, alongside approximately £1,875 each month for food provisions alone.

Donations of over £500 made through our online payment platform incur a platform fee. This fee is either paid by the donor at checkout or deducted from the donation we receive.
