Start Spending and Start Raising!!!

We need money to operate the Night Shelter. Although we keep our adminstration costs to a minimum we still have to pay for the basic essentials - heating, lighting, cooking and cleaning materials. We receive no help from central or local government funding. We rely solely on voluntary donations from the public and concerned organisations. You could help with fund-raising through sponsored activities, organising special events, jumble sales and coffee mornings to name but a few.

If you would like to make a donation to our work with the homeless, either as a one-off gift or as a regular commitment, then please download and fill in the Donation Form. If you are a tax-payer, then by GiftAiding it, the Inland Revenue gives us an extra 28p for every £1 that you donate.

However, more than money or goods, it is volunteers for the Night Shelter that we need the most. If you can't volunteer yourself, perhaps you could encourage someone else to do so. We need volunteers in the evenings and overnight. We also need helpers during the day to clean and sort.
